Brad Pitt Interview/Holiday Concert Number Two

Aired December 21, 2007 - 21:00 ET

KING: During tonight's program, you've heard music from "Let it Snow, Baby, Let in Rain, Dear," a holiday album by the band Reliant K. NPR called it one of the most appealing, fun Christmas disks of the year. Special thanks to the guys at Reliant K and to Bobby Gale (ph) at Capitol Records for letting us use their terrific music.

Thanks to bobby (our publicist) and Larry King for plugging our disc. get it before they become coasters and paperweights for the next 11 months.

peace, love, and Larry King...

Im not trying to ignore anyone... including close friends, family, friends of RK, my inbox is overflowing and if you have emailed me in the past few weeks, im sorry, i promise i will get back to you, just hang tight. thanks for your patients doctor. til then, have a great day!

Okay, one more game....

Well, i did lose to the mighty Matt Thiessen in his freshman year of fantasy football... My strategy held strong for most of the year, but injuries and his good team kept me out of the finals... I will have one more game against my friend josh white for 3rd or 4th place, this will decide the draft order for next year, supposing i reenlist. The battle of the titans is one of the battle of the lead singers... Matt vs. Mark Stuart, formerly of Audio A fame... I wish them both luck, although i must admit i am pulling for Matt... When i lose, i only want to lose to the best, so good luck buddy.

peace, love, and matts head on my body...

And so it begins

Today is quite possibly my last fantasy football game EVER!!!! I squeaked into the playoffs after having led the league for most of the season, but i face a monster with the face of an angel... matt thiessen. My ever so fickle wide outs are all on the injury list, making my chances of survival that much harder. I wish matt the best of luck in his freshman year as a fantasy player, but i remind him of a player called dan marino. early success but NEVER TO RETURN!!!!!! See you on the computer screen.

peace love and crossing every finger i own.

I seen it. Twas good. Review to follow.

Cover me (like candlebox... wikipedia them, they will change your life)

Ok they probably wont change your life, but they were the first band i ever saw in concert... candlebox and flaming lips edge concert field, orlando florida, 1994... something like that. anyways, i found a cover of give on you tube, and for some reason i really wanted to post it. there are a lot of RK covers on you tube, and i watch most of them when i am bored... does that make me lame? i dont know... i usually come across them searching for live vids of us to see how we sounded a certain night, and get sidetracked by the talent of our fans. anyways, enjoy.

wyoming, alaska... states could care less about me...

In a recent visit to my "google analytics"... I realized that i was only two states away from a phi slamma jamma with complete state visits. If you dont know what analytics is, its a site that you can visit in order to see how many people view your website. Its fun to check out every once in a while. It has a cool feature that tells you how many states have visited, as well as the city, and the number of visits from each one. If you know of anyone in wyoming or alaska, email them and tell them to click on my site, just once.. then i can cross "have someone from every state visit my blog" off of my fake things to accomplish before i turn 27 list. Thanks for your support in achieving my fake dreams.

peace love and obviously scrounging for things to post about...

fan art

I love fan art, its one of my favorite things to get... here is a pic that dianna did in MS paint, i think...

There are a few more weeks before the big christmas day if you havent heard this record, go pick one up.

For the 100th time, weve been elfed.

I think i get an email about once a day with someone who elfs our band. I must say, i am 100 percent flattered that so many people take the time to elf us. if you are not familiar with what I am talking about, you can paste a picture of your face on a crazy dancing elfs body, and email it to your friends to let them know how bored you were at the time. If youre are in fact bored, please watch us dance, as elfs.

Check it

peace love and little green us's

Too hairy, Too Skinny hails RK fan... Unrelated, glass is also half empty.

I have gotten a few emails from fans that are not digging my new friend mister whiskers. As i have said before, i dont think that offends me or anything, but some of the emails i have received have been very "to the point." For those of you who think i look ridiculous, look at bob seger and look at how sweet he looks, then look at me again, i think you will surely change your mind. If that doesnt work... I wasnt born with a beard, and i probably wont die with a beard, so just be patient. I did get an amusing email from a girl that told me i was entirely too skinny... hmm, maybe i should start eating fast food or something, that may help. I will look into that for sure. Thanks for all the emails, even the ones that say i look funny. right now we are enjoying a break before we finish up the year and gear up for christmas. If you didnt hear, RK will be on the majority of warped tour this coming summer. This should be a lot of fun, and i am looking forward to it, and to seeing all of you guys out there. Thats all for now. Go titans.

peace, love, and military grade razors...

ps i just saw the "i am legend" trailer, looks sweet...

How to scare your mother...

step 1. dont shave for two months.
step 2. go to mothers house for dinner and mingling.
step 3. show face to mother.
step 4. have a laugh.

New Pics on the PRS Site!!!

Check out www.prsguitars.com, follow the links to the artist section, and then to the artist photos... There you will see some pics from our Baltimore show from the appetite for construction tour taken by mark from PRS. There are pics of me, matt, and matt jamming on the axes. I think its funny to say jamming on the axes. Try it... Jamming on the axes. See, it is fun, eh?

Anyways, if youre bored, check out the pics, along with some really beautiful guitars on the site.

I have had a few questions about what gear we are playing from prs, so ill just go ahead and mention them here...

SC 250 goldtop
SC 245 Platinum
Satin Standard Charcoal
Satin Standard Mahogany
Mira Sandstorm
Hollowbody w/ piezo Goldtop
SE Soapbar II Cherry

Mira Seafoam Green

SC 250 Black w/ queen sticker!!!!!

I know that I talk a lot about this company... I dont mean to be overbearing, but I have played a lot of guitars, and i truly feel that PRS makes the best guitar on the market. We dont get paid or anything to play the guitars, or do the videos, or talk about them on the blogs, i just believe in the company and feel very fortunate to be able to work with them and play their instruments.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for coming out on this past tour... We were able to donate around $100,000 dollars to habitat for humantiy! That is an amazing thing, and we couldnt have done it without your support. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for coming out to the shows and picking up our records. Thats all for now.

peace love and home for the holidays...

Were famous!

I was just informed by my pal jeff that the real autozone guy had replied to our autozone podcast featuring john warne...

he quoted

Hey. The real AutoZone guy, here. Yep. I'm the voice of all of their national ads, write and produce all of their music, and sing "Get In The Zone-AutoZone" on all their jingles. We were in the studio w/the folks from AutoZone's ad dept. yesterday cutting new spots, went to YouTube to look at a different video & ran across yours. We laughed our asses off. You'll be hearing from my lawyer in the morning. (Just kidding.) Rock on, Relient K!

good stuff. I am glad that we reached the top with our video. Keep making the jingles dude, and well keep trying to reproduce them.

peace love and car commercials.

one of my favorite artists right now

check it.

peace love and art

The only dude i want building my guitars

I found this video on youtube late last night in my bunk while fighting my insomnia. This is one of the reasons i think PRS makes the best guitars out there... I hope i get to meet this dude someday. I need to stop saying dude.

peace love and luthiers

Itt whas cuch a phun tyme, eye deecydead to pohst sum pycturs...

Im dumb.

Here are some pics from the UCirvine show that Kat Park totally emailed me. Thanks, i havent posted fan pics for a while, but i enjoyed the show, i figured id post them. please ignore my dumb face, but please take note of my not dumb PRS guitars...

On another note, a girl presented me with a razor along with a note asking me to please shave. I wasnt sure whether to be offended or flattered. I still havent decided, but i havent shaved, and i think i will roll over the "no shave november" into december and possibly 08.
I may end up looking like this guy....

unfortunately, for the girl that is upset, as well as the gillette corporation, my wife likes my beard...

peace love and keeping my face warm...

Good time in CA

I got the chance to hang out with a good buddy of mine at our show last night in Irvine CA... His name being Frankie Franco... His blog being http://frakfraco.blogspot.com/ and his site being frakfraco.com... Hes the mastermind behind our holiday flat for sale at our shows... i think there is a preview of that on his site. Anyways, its always good to hang with friends and always good to be in california. Thats all for now, thanks for reading...

peace love and the west coast...

Fan Art

I Couldnt figure out how to follow the post about Casey, so i decided to just post some fan art for the time being... Thanks to Kara for this one...

peace, love, and doodle bugs....

Thoughts on the day

I was startled by a text i received late tonight that Casey from hawthorne heights had passed away last night. I had the pleasure of doing a tour supporting hawthorne on the nintendo fusion tour last year. I got to know casey a little and he was always a great person to be around, always had a smile on his face, took his band serious, loved his fans, and had every nintendo DS game that was on the market. It is always a weird feeling to hear that someone you know, even if it isnt well, has passed away. It reminds us how fragile and perfect the gift of life is. I will remember Casey the way most people will probably remember him... headbanging, and screaming, jamming the guitar, with a smile on his face between songs. My prayers go out to your family, as well as your band mates and friends.

peace, love, and remembering casey...

Some things i am thankful for (including ending sentences in prepositions)

I decided to mention a few things i am thankful for this thanksgiving, and i wanted to share them with you.

in no particular order...
-my wife, shes amazing
-my family, they are all very special in their own way
-my country, being able to live in the US is a blessing, and for that i am thankful... being able to live amongst people who dont feel the same way i do about things, but still being able to believe whatever i want is a great thing.
-my friends... being able to play music with 4 of my best friends for a living is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
-fantasy football, i am fortunate to be able to still be in first place... please knock on any wood nearby.
-great companies like PRS guitars and their willingness to work with us.
-my dogs, they will always be my first children
-dc comics
-sylvester stallone
-god's grace that is never ending

There are more things that i am thankful for, but these are the only ones i could think of for now.

Im sick.

I hope that everyone has a happy thanksgiving. I am going out of town tomorrow, but not before i stop by the my local comic book store to pick up the new umbrella academy issue... I have been fighting a cold for several days now, i finally broke down and went and got a z-pack and i feel better already... If i can get my phone to sync up with my new OS, i will put up some sweet pics from NYC. wish my luck. til then...

ps, i know that poison doesnt sing that song.

girls girls girls... but not that dumb poison song.

Check out justasiamclothing.com for new girls clothings items... theyre pretty sweet, and girls are sweet....at least some of them. weird.

Sometimes i wish that i was a little bit more poetic, or romantic, and i cant find the right words to say... and sometimes, it just so happens that someone i know happens to say the right thing for me. I was browsing around the web today and found a quote that gave me a smile and a tingle. Its funny how sometimes you find something so perfect when you are just wasting time.. which i do a lot of right now. anyways...

--Recently i have found that life is much more complex, oddly enough i have discovered this complexity in the simplicity of monotony. Its when our lives settle into a groove when you find out what is most important. over the past year and a half i have been watching things settle. and i am not too sure i enjoy all that is rising to the top. but that is why i try to stay as close to the Lord as possible. when these things rise to the top, he can reach down and take them out. staying close to the lord is not easy, but i guess thats how refining feels and does to you. and i am pleased to say that through all my struggles and failures that i love the lord more today than i ever have in my whole life. i thank the lord every day for his grace, and i am thankful that it is not missing.--

Thanks frak...

Let is snow baby, let it reindeer....

You never know what will happen when you come to a RK show. This was at a show we played in the antarctic tundra. We had to have snow dogs pull our gear because the trucks got stuck... it was a crazy night. (photo by andy barron.)

peace love and chattering teeth..

Thanks to everyone for the response with the new myspace that is up and running... i am doing my very best to keep it updated... see you guys there.

i am taking part in no shave november... here is a pic of my with a semi beard. im at the stage where people cant tell if im trying to grow a beard or am just getting really lazy. hopefully people think im tough. just kidding.

heres to saving razors...

Im Back!

Alright, i got a lot of emails about me deleting my myspace (www.myspace.com/jonschneck) and truth is, i surely did.... it got super over run with macys gift cards and scantily clad women, and men for that matter... i figured the easiest way to get back to square one was just to start over, so thats what i did. If you know me from RK and added me as a friend on myspace before, i am sorry, we are no longer friends, so go back and add me! again, the address is myspace.com/jonschneck. i hope to be internet friends with all of you. i cant wait.

peace love and internet relationships....

One more week...

Well, i squeezed out a win over the usually dominate Matt Thiessen... I seem to have this curse where whoever i play, they have poor weeks... Lets hope that i can keep up this trend. I have a so-so schedule leading into the playoffs, which start week 15, so we will see how it goes. wish me luck.

more to come...

peace, love, and squeakin by...

My favorite yet...

The wonderful people from PRS guitars have provided me with another amazing instrument... I cant wait to get back on the road in 3 days and plug it into my rig.

A gold top SC-250. Check them out on the web at www.PRSGUITARS.com

peace, love, and goldtops....

A penny for your thoughts??? if so id be broke...

I have decided to disable comments on my bloggeroo... I just wanted to say thanks for everyone who has commented and been faithful to viewing. Im still going to blog consistently, just without comments. I hope that you guys will still come by and read. I still have my email address rockin, so feel free to drop a line and i will do my best to answer promptly.

See you soon...

peace, love, and .... no comment

Dont call the ASPCA, please...

I dont consider what i do to my animals abuse, but some, including my dogs, may think otherwise. We enjoyed this halloween and i was fortunate to get to swing through nashville for long enough to see my wife and be a little festive. Baking cookies and dressing up helpless animals is a great release... i hope you enjoy these pictures as much as i do.

peace love and spider-dog...

Fully operational....

Have a tat for Hugh, Manitee...

If you didnt know already, the tour that we are currently on is called the "appetite for constrution" tour. I think thats french... We teamed up with with habitat for humanity for this tour, and a buck from everyones ticket goes straight to the organization. its pretty awesome. Today in Baton rouge we got to go out to a habitat house and work! it was pretty cool. we were installing hardy plank, which is basically like concrete siding for houses... its more durable than vinyl and holds up better than wood. let me tell you, we are pros. we only had to take down a few boards that we put up wrong, and by the end of the day, we had almost a whole side done... i know we werent super efficient, but we did our best, and got to use some sweet power tools. if youre not familar with the organization, you should check out the haps. its awesome.

pics to follow...

peace love and black thumbs

tune in tomorrow...

We have been known to pull a kid or two on stage to play a song with us during our set, and last night, in dallas we picked a dude named dillon. matt thought he said tilly and called him that for like 5 min. it was pretty great. to make a boring story short, i saw him after the show, he gave me his bands demo, and we all listened to it. it was pretty cool.. i thought i would give them a plug on the old blogaroo.

love always,

Let is snow baby, let it reindeer...

Pick one up. Stealing is only cool if youre named Ricky Henderson... or Otis Nixon, i will also accept Otis Nixon.

Love, Jon.

whos on first, i mean top, i mean....

Looks like i have a slight advantage over EVERYONE in fantasy football. I know that when you brag, karma comes back to bite you, but i think that the biting is ineveitble this season, so i am going to gloat my first place while i can.. at least to myself you bloggers... a screen shot to follow... wish me luck in the upcoming weeks.

the cheap motel pulled a fast one on me, and others..

upon waking in eau claire wisconsin for our cold and dreary day off, i noticed our hotel had a "game room." im not sure if this is listed as one of the amenities of the place, but i hope that no one brings there kids here simply for this "arcade." all the way from the bus, i noticed what is the second most recognizable symbol in all of the world, (of course the first being the superman S) the ghostbusters no ghost symbol... I immediately pictured in my head cashing in dollars for quarters and playing as egon until my cash well went dry. i was excited to say the least. upon further investigation of this arcade game, i realized that the once heavenly ghostbusters arcade game had been stripped of its ghostbusting guts and fitted with the lone rollerball from games such as golden tee. Now ive heard of some surgerys gone wrong, but having this priceless piece of the 80s gouged and transformed into a golden tee would have been a catastrophe. upon FURTHER investgation, i realized that this game was NOT turned into a golden tee, not a bowling game, not a deer hunter, or any other respectable bar side treat... but it was turned into a "shuffle Shot." i know, i am thinking the same thing... what is shuffle shot? well, it turns out it is some form of the senior citizen game shuffle board, only way lamer. my awesome day was shuffle shot down. the bright side is, i walked across the street to the mall and picked up eric powells action 866... i hate buying comics from waldenbooks, but you gotta do what you gotta do.... and i still have some cash to spare. Monday night football at applebees, here i come!

peace love and evil disguises...

help out some people you dont know...

check out ebay and bid on a bit of charity. Help us help you, or something....

Bid on two tickets and a meet and greet at an upcoming show of your choice... all proceeds go to the "Sweet relief musicians fund."

peace love and sweet, sweet, relief...

if the first is the worst, then this tour will be neat...

We have made it through the first week of the tour... we had a handful of awesome shows, and it has been rad getting to know and or reacquainted with everyone out here. i promise i will start blogging more come second week... We have our first day off tomorrow, and hoopes and i may play golf (weather permitting...). here are a few pics from the first week of shows.

Notice the beautiful guitars designed by the wonderful Paul Reed Smith.
(photos by andy. please no stealing)

Peace love and apple juice (its what im drinking)

In case you dont read our website...

After seven years of touring, recording, and rehearsing, Dave Douglas has decided to leave Relient K. His final show will be 12/29. As a part of Relient K, he has been an amazing drummer, singer, collaborator, and friend. Before Dave joined the band, we were plagued with drummer turnover. Although he was the fifth drummer in two years, the moment he joined was the first time we ever felt like a complete band. He will be missed on the stage and on the road, and we wish him all the best.

I know that there have been some rumors and speculation about my future in Relient K. I suppose I should clear that up. The time has, in fact, come for me to leave the band. This has been a very difficult decision, but I know that this is the right one. Relient K has been a huge part of my life and I'm sure that it is going to take a long time to get used to not being a part of the band any more. I've had a lot of good times, met a lot of great people, and been able to go a lot of places. it's been a blessing and a pleasure to work with Matt, Matt, John, and Jon. Also, I want to thank everyone else who has been involved with the band, especially those who have been on the road with us. Our fans are amazing and I want to thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm.

I am moving on to new music projects, and I hope that I will still have all of your support. Come the first of the year I will be devoting most of my time to Gypsy Parade . Feel free to look us up and say hi. Until then I will playing with Relient K, so I've got a few more shows left in me. I suppose that this is my "farewell tour." hopefully I, and the rest of Relient K, will see you at one of them.
Thanks to all of you.

-Dave Douglas

Well, as for me... i have known about this for a lot longer than most of you. I have done my best to shy away from emails about this until dave officially made a statement. I am glad that i have known dave for the many years i have known him, and even more glad i have been able to be a band mate of his for these past 3 years. we have had many good times, and many great times. he has, and always will be considered a true friend by me, and i wish him the best success and happiness that life has to offer.

sorry about being lazy

**i tried to post this yesterday, but the internet was too slow to load the page, sorry...**

hey guys.. i havent really posted anything since the tour started... i think its because i am getting into my "first week of tour" routine where i have to adjust my natural clock from waking up at 8 to waking up at 2... its just how it goes im afraid. i dont intend to stay up until 4 am every night, but it just happens that way... also, with the purchase of a wii, a football, and a dart board, there has been plenty of things to keep us occupied when we arent soundchecking our playing. I will post something with some meat sooner than later... thanks for everyone who has been coming out, i hope to get a chance to say hey to all of you guys...

til then,

Just as I am

My sister and brother in law have designed a clothing line called "just as i am" clothing. I know they are very excited about selling some shirts and turning part time into full time. Check them out at http://www.justasiamclothing.com

peace love and tshirts

today is the first show of the appetite for construction tour with us, switchfoot, and ruth. i am looking forward to having a great time on the road, and seeing all of you guys out at shows. see you all soon!

One more time

We leave tonight for charleston WV for tour rehearsals for our co-headline tour with Switchfoot... the appetite for construction tour. should be a good time. i hope that all of you guys can make it out to at least one show, and some of you can make it out to 10. remember, let me know if youre gonna be there, and ill do my best to say hey.... i do my best to stick around and say hey after every show, but there are the occasions where i cant... i do hope to get to meet the bloggers i havent met yet, and see some familiar faces. ill do my best to keep the blog up on the road, so stay tuned.

peace love and playing shows,

Mcdlive tater bots

When you go to vote at Mcdlive.com now, there is a word verification box, which means that there may have been voting bots or something like that before.... obviously i dont know that and im not accusing anyone of anything, but alls im saying, is everyone who voted before, go back and vote some more, and maybe we can still pull this off... thanks for all of your support.

peace love and word boxes

World in White

I went to a show last night in the ville known as nash to see an old friends band play. I used to be in a band long ago with the front dude of this act, as well as a roommate for a while... Its always good to see old friends and see the art they are producing . I had no idea what to expect from the group, other than a three song EP i had, but i was really impressed... The band was really tight and the songs had great melodies... If you see them coming through your town, you should check them out.

tetting in gouch mith we

Just wanted to drop a blog in to my peeps and say that I get a lot of myspace message from a lot of people... I do my best to respond to each of them, but a lot of times i try to respond to my messages, and it wont let me because i am not someones friend, therefore it seems as if i am ignoring you. Well then, why dont i just add everyone? Well......I actually do use myspace to keep up with my close friends, so it is hard for me to keep up with everyone who adds me, so unfortunately i only add people that i know personally. If you are really interested in simply being my myspace friend, myspace.com/jonschneck is where to add me, and i will accept anyone, even spammers that want to give away 25 dollar macys gift cards... so if myspace is your deal, then go there...

I say all of this to say i am not ignoring you, sometimes it just doesnt let me respond. I am not asking you to change your settings, im just letting you know that if you dont get a response, that is probably why.

remember, the best way to get in touch with me is Jon@relientk.com... I enjoy everyones emails, and I do my best to get my inbox cleared once a week or so... i do my best to keep up with comments on here as well, so questions are always welcome.

dont make me settle for wendys...

Dont forget to vote at Mcdlive.com for your favorite band, and hopefully that is relient k... we are down in the standings as of right now, and thats okay with me... i was just reminding eveyone to vote. Thanks for your support.

peace, love, and dah dah dah dah dah....

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's Jonny....

Im back from my cruise with my friends from the places and stuff. I did not sink, fall off, or get abducted on an island. Im gonna sleep for now, because I didnt sleep much with the rocking boat, but stay tuned.... more to come.

Speed 2: Cruise Control

Good move Keanu..

Anyways, we (the members of the band relient k) are going on a cruise this week (you mean they actually hang out together?)... which will mean there wont be any new blog posts coming up anytime soon (seriously, theyre all friends?)... Thanks for everyone reading and participating in some commenting, i enjoy reading all of them. (i heard they didnt get along) I guess, as long as our ship stays afloat, i will be right back here in 8 days, or so... wish me luck as we will be doing a lot of unnatural traveling (flying, boating)... I will send each and everyone of you a postcard from the Caribbean, even you.. yes YOU... (im glad they all like each other) if you dont get it by wednesday, dont blame me, blame the post office.

peace love and heres to hoping someone will still read this thing after a week long hiatus....

Meet Jon Black

I noticed that my friend jon has a blog, so i thought i would link him because his music is rad, and everyone should check him out, plus he likes comics and has a beard. new links on the sidebar.

Review of Superman Doomsday

First, ill give my non spoiler review. I loved it.

Okay, and now for my review, may contain spoilers.
First of all, ill start out by saying that that 75 is my all time favorite issue and the comic that pulled me to DC over from marvel. with that being said, I was really anxious to see how they were going to adapt the screen play. I knew that they were not going to do the full on death and return with the four imposters, and the funeral for a friend story, because there just wasnt enough time for them to pull that off, so i couldnt wait to see what the plot was going to be. The movie starts out with the origin of doomsday coming from a bc space ship that lexcorp discovers while digging for new forms of power. once doomsday (who is never referred to as doomsday) is revealed, he goes on his killing rampage straight away. the fight scenes were amazing, it was great full page action just like in 75. the art wasnt as good, but i let that slide. superman and doomsday both die within the first 20 min. of the movie... the title may have been called superman's doomsday, or day of doom or something like that, cause the actual doomsday character wasnt in it very much... thats okay with me though. once the death and funeral stuff happens, lex clones supes from a drop of blood found at the fight scene and there is a triumphant "retrurn of superman." This is similar to the superboy leg of the four imposters in the comics. I think it was the most logical choice for continuity. I wont spoil everything, superman eventually comes back and there is another great fight between the real mullet sporting superman, and his confused clone. The movie is kind of a fight sandwhich, with some love stories as the meat and mayo. If you are a fan of S:TAS and the comics, i dont think that you will be dissapointed. The story is good enough on its own to get past the art if you are not a fan of the animated series. my FAVORITE part of the movie is when "superman" returns and is fighting toyman, and sure enough, a giant spider appears in the third act. some of you will not know what i am talking about (see youtube "kevin smith on superman") Its a slap in the face to john peters, who was going to remake the original superman with nick cage and tim burton.. kevin smith wrote a screen play and the producer john peters told him there had to be a giant spider in it... right after supes defeats the spider, there is a cameo of kevin smith and he calls the scene lame. it was very clever writing.

Fan or not, i think it is an entertaining movie... if youre not into the story, theres enough action to sustain you, and if you are, its a decent enough plot, and the writing is pretty great.

peace love and dvds

Guitar on ebay

Up for sale is one of Matt T's Guitars at a steal of a price. check it out.

You really can buy ANYTHING on eBay

I was browsing ebay last night due to complete boredom, and thought it would be a good idea to do a relient k search. Some will call this narcissistic, I will call it "what jon does while waiting for an email." Anyways... I came across a giutar pick that i threw out from stage selling for a whopping 5 bucks!

Now, am I mad that someone would take a well worn pick that i threw to them during a show, and turn around and try to make a profit off of my ugly mug? not at all... i just want to know how come eddie van halens sells for more than $130? (http://cgi.ebay.com/Authentic-and-Rare-Eddie-Van-Halen-guitar-pick_W0QQitemZ110167581354QQihZ001QQcategoryZ105067QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

In all seriousness, i was browsing ebay because i am about to list a guitar, and stumbled across this and thought it was amusing. I think the best way to get picks is by coming to a show though, so ill make you a deal... Come to a RK show this fall, and i will throw you one. Stay tuned for more ebay goodness.

peace love and rip-offs
